Strange. My experience is that to reach goals it is better to share them with others.
Of course it is good to start to write them down and as accurate as possible for yourself. But after you are sure about the goals you reach them often easier or faster when you share them and tell them to people that you know, that you can trust, that you care about and that care about you. Once you do so, your goals are also "saved" in their minds and than you can just burn the whole written manuscript.
Another way is to share it with people that you don't know anonymous on a forum like this one. As we don't know everyone out here personal, even telling personal goals are not really that big deal. Of course you don't have to use real names of people and places and go in detail about things that could identify you or other people.
