This is very interesting. Sometimes at night just before I'd fall asleep, I'd hear a voice too. Not from the outside, but from inside my head, just like the other posters. Hardly intelligible, just fragments of speech. It always freaked me out, and I'd wish the voice away. Maybe I should start listening...
