One possibility is that maybe this is what he thinks a relationship is -- to him there may not be anything wrong with it at all.
But that doesn't mean you have to stay with him if you don't want to. I'd suggest working on yourself for a bit first, taking the advice here, reading the book Angela recommended -- and then making a decision.
Maybe you guys could even have an open relationship. How would you feel about that?
