If I understand the question "Now the question i'm asking you (the reader) is do you think I should carry on with what i'm doing, which is not really putting any real energy into my course and enjoying everything else?" you are not contemplating dropping out, just staying on cruise control. Depending how much time and energy you have, I can understand not wanting to devote alot of extra time to "do well" (i.e. get good grades.) What is your objective? To get good grades or to graduate? It sounds like you won't be needing to impress anyone with a GPA any time soon. You need to determine how much time you want to spend studying, then whatever time that is, make it quality study time. As Steve P says, live consciously.
