To me, the end result of PUA and PD, is to be completely natural, uncontrived and spontaneous with all people in all kinds of situations. So when I see a hot chick, I can treat her with the same common courtesy, I would a down and out on the street, or a member of royalty, to treat all people with the same dignity and respect and not give special privages to a hot chick, just because my body wants to bone hers.
To be truly natural is to be mindless, uncontrolled, unthinking. Actually "going with the flow" properly is a product of years of exercise and training.

The essence of PUA is to establish your mind in a different frame. Instead of fixating on soulmates and one true loves, you fixate on practice and technique. Eventually, you no longer need to think about it, like a child one day no longer needs to figure out how to balance themselves while walking. And at that point, you've overridden your fears and you have become a different self: a self that, naturally, is confident and attractive.

And maybe you'll meet your one true love, someday. And when you do, you'll be confident, attractive, and head-over-heels, to boot. But that's better than just being head-over-heels.
