I used to love shows on TV when I was a kid about people who had magical powers. For example I distinctly remember watching a show on TV when I was a little kid in Poland and there was this guy who could run through walls. He would run full blast towards the wall and just run right through to the other side. He had a friend and he told him that you just have to believe that you'll go through it and if you don't hesitate, it will work and you'll just run right through it.
Of course when the friend tried it, he didn't believe it so you could see him kind of "get ready" to hit the wall and of course he smashed right into it and bounced right off.
I also remember different shows where the magical powers were based on an object a person possessed. Basically the person would find a magic ring or a magic hat or something that allowed him to all of a sudden have "powers". Those were definitely my favorite type of shows.
