Are you sure your above statement is universally true? I suspect there are some people somewhere who do believe the earth is flat or would if the idea that the world had a shape came to their minds.
I simply do not know if there is a better way to describe shape than what I currently believe but I suspect it does not adequately and fully describe the properties of the world.
I believe there are some things about the subject currently being discussed which are not readily apparent to me. Perhaps you would agree that some of your beliefs are not correct or that they are incomplete. Perhaps some of the things you and I dismiss as untrue are actually true.
