Meditation Draining me Badly- Help?
A few months ago I was able to meditate almost every day, as I'd listen to guided meditations on my bed with the curtains closed, room darken. I think mediation really helped me, espically with my dream recall. A little while ago though, whenever I began to mediate after I finished I wouldn't get that relaxed fresh feeling. I began to feel very groggy. Also whenever I meditate now I feel very tired, that type of tired you feel when you get sick, and the achey tirdness sweeps overs you, and it really doesn't feel very pleasant. Now this situation has gotten so bad I no longer want to meditate, because it makes me feel awful after I do it.
I haven't changed my style of meditation since when I could do it normally, I never have changed it. Also, the feeling of groggyness doesnt just come over me when I'm meditating, sometimes I can be in the lightest aterled state possible. For example, about a day ago I was sitting in a chair listening to music with my eyes closed, and it had an effect on me!
Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong here? Suggestions on how to stop this very unpleasant feeling? Because I know, when you meditate you're suppoused to feel fresh and relaxed, not tired and sickly!
