On the subject of how great Canada is ...
Some friends of mind flew out to Calgary, a few weeks ago; they took bikes with them, and cycled over the Rocky mountains, to Vancouver (they're pretty adventeous, or nuts, depending on your point of view). So, they allocated 10 days to get to Vancouver, few days rest; then last Friday, they did the Vancouver international championships Triathlon (swim, bike, run) - Sprint distance.
Did really well too, Alison, came 10th in age group catagory (out of 20); and Glenn came 22nd (out of about 42). Be interesting to hear their stories when they're back the UK, bet they had an ace time cycling over the Rockies!
