You are probably experiencing a combination of:
- psychological reversal (a part of you wants to hold onto the problem, for whatever reason)
- issue has not been fully tapped on
- new issues have now surfaced
I assume you're doing this on your own, with just the free manual.
There have been ALOT of updates to the technique since the manual. Everything from new tapping points to new "choice" statements.
Have you looked thoroughly into the
case studies? Even though I worked with a master practitioner, I spent HOURS studying the case studies.
Have you signed up for the
EFT newsletter? They email you the newest case studies each week. In fact, you may want to look at the newsletter archives as an efficient way to go through the case studies.
If you don't want to use a practitioner (I highly recommend, especially as it seems you have complex and chronic issues), then I recommend you get the
DVD's.
Have you looked up
YouTube videos of EFT?
Googled EFT? There is a wealth of information out there (in fact, I learned about BSFF from a google of EFT).
EFT truly is an art form, and although anyone can learn it - it takes time.
I recommend you start off with TAT. It's much more intuitive and simple in procedure. The results, however, can often rival EFT (or better EFT!). Download the
free manual and try it out.
As I mentioned - I like to do a combination of EFT, TAT and BSFF. I find the results to be truly dramatic. Therefore, I highly suggest and encourage you to become proficient in EFT.
Actually, this past week, I played "practitioner" and helped a friend with her boyfriend issues. Anyways, after 2 hours, her symptoms went from extremely bad (a 15 SUDS!) to very mild (a 1-3 SUDS). She kept her 1-3 SUDS for over a week. In fact, the highest she ever rebounded was at a 4 SUDS. And we just did another session. She said she's down to a 0 - 0.75.
I will definitely see what she says in another week or so - but in my experience, combining all the above techniques results in not only extremely expedient recovery, but a more permanent recovery, too.
Please take this time to look over all information you can. It took many years for you to build your problem - don't worry if they die hard! And remember that EFT is truly an art, and that you really owe it to yourself to do your research, and perhaps hire a practitioner for 2-3 sessions.
