As I wrote earlier, I think it can be a bit rude to stare at other women when you are out with your girlfriend (assuming it bothers her).

I also think it's important not to feel like you are afraid of "getting caught".

Not looking because it is good manners not to look makes sense to me; not looking because of fear of judgement/disapproval is probably not a healthy mindset.
