Most times, I get impressions, not visions, not sounds just impressions of what to do. Sometimes, I get a dialog going, but it's rare. For me it's one voice, until my recent reading with Erin where I got to know who my Spirit guides are.
I usually get clear direction whether it's a voice or an impression.
If you want to hear more, I would suggest meditating in silence. No guided meditations or scenery. Just you and the voice. Zoom right into it.
