I wanted to chime in real quick on my experience with the paraliminals. First of all, I watched Steve using them those three months and he was raving about them the whole time. But I didn't try my first one until a few weeks ago.
The first one I listened to had to do with health and well being (sorry the name escapes me) because I was coming down with an illness and Steve thought it would help. He explained that I would hear two different stories but not to try to focus or attenuate on them. At first, I tried, it was instinct to try to make sense of the voices, but before long I just let them slide into me. I immediately slipped into a deep meditative state, but stayed awake throughout. By the end of the tape, I was in such a peaceful, relaxed state that I was able to get to sleep very quickly (hard for me when I'm getting sick).
What I really loved about the paraliminal was that it wasn't just a meditation CD. When Paul is speaking it was so strange, it felt like I was hearing the voice not in my ears but right between my eyebrows and about 3 inches
outside of my body. This had the effect of lifting my awareness outside of my body, like a mini astral projection. I have never ever experienced that sensation before but it was extremely pleasant and unusual.
Steve hooked me up with two more paraliminals in the last couple of weeks, including a Holiday Cheer paraliminal. I have to admit it had the desired effect and I got up singing and happier than I was before I started.
I now see the paraliminals as a treat, something to look forward to, something I know is going to relax me and/or lift me to a higher state of awareness. When that voice goes from my ears to outside of my body, it's like I can breath through an organ I didn't know I had. It's hard to describe since I've never experienced anything like it.
Has anyone else who has used the paraliminals had that same experience? Of hearing the voice outside your body, in the middle of your brow area? Please tell me it's not just me
