Yep, you can actually see Mount Snowdon in the background of Photo 1. Was a great day, up at 6.30, drove Sheffield to North Wales (my friend, who's an experienced climber and walker, was driving, his car goes fast!). We managed to do most of the Snowdon horse-shoe; then drove to another range of mountains for more climbing. Turned in to a very wet; and very winday day; but great fun. Made it back home to Sheffield for 10.30, and my friend made last orders at the pub!
Something very striking about being up in the mountains, away from the hard lines of the city; out in nature; you could see for miles and miles, practically you could make out the outline of Anglesea.
