Starting a business
I'm interested in starting my own game development studio. Initially with myself as the owner and only employee. I've looked into it and LLC seems to be the best way to go in order to avoid having my pants sued off me in the case of something going wrong. I've also heard that banks are far more likely to lend to LLC's than sole proprieter or partnership companies. What are some good resources that I can read to find out about the following:
1. What does it take to start a business.
2. Taxes and reporting (more important once I have employee's)
3. Anything else you might think is important.
I can move forward with developing games but I'm not quite sure how to proceed with the business side to this. My eventual goal is to have a largeish studio with 50-100 employees. Not immediately mind you as I'm starting from near broke and by myself. So I'd have to make money in order to hire in order to make more money in order to hire more people. Eventually I want to have a decent sized game studio.
Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
