Aaliyah,

Even if you don't physically grow taller, it is possible to affect your own and other people's perception of your height. People routinely think I am taller than I am, even though I don't wear heels. I just project a "tall" impression to myself and others (and I have good posture).

When I go to the doctor's office and they measure my height and weight, my height hasn't changed. But somehow, I look and feel taller.

You can yours and other people's perceptions, even if when you go to measure it "objectively" there's no change.
