I had the same problem but Steve's article
Purpose = Permanent Message + Temporary Medium helped.
For me, I find that after finding my purpose, a lot of doors opened up. Or at least it felt like it. Things I never paid much attention to before suddenly became resources to help me along. I felt like solutions to old doubts and worries/problems began to pop up seemingly out of nowhere. Like the universe was encouraging me along.
