Default Switchwords & Clicking the Amygdala Forward

Interesting list(s), Nightdiamond! I myself am curious if anyone's played with the "clicking the amygdala forward." I've come across it before and done some research on it but everything I've found is directly quoted from the same one guy (Neil Slade?). Has anyone gotten more information on this or used this process? I'd love to know more about it!

According to the author of this book, simply repeating certain single word affirmations can create the desired affect of that word, or attract the desired affect of that word. Certain words are charged with a particular vibration and energy that represents a concept.

I've come across this concept in a different form myself and it does have some value, especially if you want to work with affirmations but have a tendency to negate them right away with a "yah, but..." (e.g., "I live an abundant life" "yah, but I'm worried how I'm going to pay this month's rent")

Rather than working with the whole affirmation right off the bat, use the single-word affirmation (e.g., "abundance," "success," "love," etc.) in meditation, right before sleep, etc. That way, you're impressing upon your subconscious the sense and the essence of your affirmation but without giving your ego anything to argue against.

I've used it with a good deal of success for myself and others when we've been particularly resistant.

Just my take from the "field," FWIW

Please let me know, Fellow Forumites, about your amygdala experiences!

Thanks.
