There's nothing wrong with having principles along with your life purpose. For a powerful, easily memorizable life purpose, I recommend making it as concise as possible, and also to use verbs that inspire you and that give you inspired action. An inspiring life purpose usually encompasses more than just you -- if you were living on purpose, what would you be generating for the world, and for yourself, too, that would have you leaping out of bed in the morning, excited about making a difference (again for yourself and for the world)?
You want it to be something that describes an inspiring future that you are stepping into right now.
Also, I would leave out any "in order to"'s and keep my mission statement purely the path, not the outcome.
