Have you seen the movie the Devil and Daniel Johnson?
you should.
I do realize drugs aren't for everyone but they do work for some.
I have had experiences that people say they have when they're on acid without any. So I like the idea of finding different ways to explore that without having to take substances just because I'm already hyper sensitive --(I was buzzed from rum at my first radiohead concert and I experienced some sort of full body euphoric sensation to their music; it moves me). Actually music is a great way for me to experience things, that combined with not eating every 4 hours which leads my blood sugar level to drop..
I have no idea if this artist did any drugs whatsoever but his paintings represent the waking dream state when you see things glowing with life, and their colours give off vibrations... google: Charles Burchfield
that's what i experienced when I didn't eat properly one day and listened to a Led Zepplin song over and over for at least a couple hours..
