Steve writes in this article :

Quote:
Your intention is important, but so is your effectiveness. If you have great intentions, but your work isn’t making much of a difference, you’ve probably chosen a poor medium for your message. Feel free to experiment with different outlets until you’re feeling a strong flow of energy going through your life.
I agree with that, however I wanted to emphasize that the word "effectiveness" is not to be mesured with objective standards.

Sometimes, the effectiveness is not immediately tangible. There are some examples of people (artists, writers, religious saints) that got their work recognized and spread long after their death and not during their life time. Because time is just a perspective, we don't always know the effect a work will have by looking at a specific moment.

In a 1000 years, maybe the work of a currently unknown person will have had a great effect on the human counsciousness, while the work a currently very famous person will be totally forgotten.
"The wind blows where it wants", and so a lightworkers' work that seems at first insignificant may be as important as any other one.

I think we have to feel if we're effective or not. For instance when there's this feeling to "be at home" when we work, then it's a good sign we're on the right path.
