I think what happened was that a lot of people were wondering what secret they missed, and then "Master Key to Riches" was written to explicitly state it.
I have to admit, when I read "Think and Grow Rich", and kept reading lines like, "I think you can figure out what the secret is based on what you just read", I kept thinking, "Well, ok, but what if I didn't get it? What if I just THOUGHT I got it but was wrong?"
But all action comes from thought, and we can control our thoughts. It's an amazing concept that most people don't realize. You can continue to do the same thing every day and not like it, but you made that choice. You also have the choice of doing something different and getting different results. Simple yet powerful stuff!
