I can understand what you're asking here, moonrambler. My personal approach is to focus on the situation being solved and ignore the deadline. (Hmmm, when you think of it, even the word--deadline--just brings your vibe down.) For me, when the deadline works into my intention, it brings with it the feeling of Lack and by focusing my attention on that intention in that form, I know I will attract more Lack.

So, I spend my time feeling the relief of everything easily working out to everyone's benefit in perfect order.

In my experience, "deadlines" then change or I've freed up enough of my mind to see that I have more options than I originally thought I had.

Another way I approach deadlines is as an important "warning" sign that I haven't lined up my IM focus correctly and I' setting myself up for failure. Sometimes it tells me that I'm trying to control the outcome too much which means I'm blocking off options, not a good thing for me when I do IM. I have to remind myself that the Universe is much more creative than I am and realign with the solution. I think Abraham says it best, reminding me that my job is to "focus on the What, not the How." The How is the Universe's job.

I'm looking forward to hearing how other people approach this.

@ciarac: I'd suggest you focus on that great apartment and work into your visualizations an episode where you're easily paying the rent for your affordable great new apartment of your dreams. Mmmm, even I'm loving that delicious feeling as I type this! (Barcelona's such a wonderful city; lucky you! If only I could speak Catalan....) Maybe you could even visualize your boyfriend congratulating you on finding such a great apartment and at such a great rent.
