I don't really have anything tying me down to any specific location, I feel free to go anywhere in the world to try and settle in -- or not, maybe just stay for a short period of time and move on... My degree is in Computer Science, so as long as I can have good quality internet access, and maybe chances at finding programming work, I'm set.
What are your favorite locations in the world? Where would you go and why? |
Raleigh, North Carolina...Computer geek capital of the world, aside from Geek Mecca (ie: Silcone Valley and environs.)
Great weather, excellent fun things. Two hours from the beach. Tax dollars well spent. Fair housing prices. Beyond excellent schools. Dozen or so universities. Stanley Cup winning hockey team.
IBM, Cisco, Nortel, Verizon, GlaxoSmithKline, Lenovo, RTI International, Quintiles, SAS Institute, Red Hat, Cotton Incorporated, Epic Games, Duke Medical Center, RBC Centura...I got tired of typing....
