As a Christian (I prefer the term "Christ follower") I would challenge you to get off the fence. There is no such thing as "attempting to be a "Christian". Christianity is not about doing; it's
all about what has been
done for you. "...if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved". (Romans 10:9)
I know...I know...most of the people on this forum have a problem with black and white, but scripture is more than clear about this. We are, "saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:8)
No grey area there. No discrimination, either...just a choice to make. (More on that when I have more time)
