Default Putting time limits on intentions

I'm sure this question has been asked before and will be asked again; do you guys put time limits on your intentions?
One of the experts on the Secret, i think Bob Doyle, suggested that you should do so. But to me it doesn't seem like a good idea, as surely then you start thinking "ok, only 5 days to manifest X...only 4 days to manifest X...only 3 days...."

Also, I wonder if by putting a time limit on something, because you are thinking of that certain date as well as X (whatever the object is), does that manifest the existence of X ONLY after that certain date?

Right now I'm intending to manifest 5,000 euros so that I can get the apartment of my dreams at the end of this month. Every time I have visualized this money, I have thought of the time limit, i.e.the end of the month. I have seen no movement towards that goal in terms of hard cash. That doesn't mean I'm giving up, not at all. But I think perhaps that I myself am blocking the money by thinking of the end of the month at the same time as the money.
Make sense?

Edit: Now that I think about it, that also means that I'm not believing that I have it RIGHT NOW. I'm believing that I WILL have it, which (as they say in the books), keeps that which I want always in the future. Or something...
