Thailand sounds fun, as does the Philippines. I was actually thinking about pitching Thailand to you early this morning.. What about Fuji?

If i can go anywhere, i would go everywhere. I dont think i would be happy just staying in one place for a long period of time.
I could see myself in a couple places for maybe a whole year becuase there is so much to explore but ultimately, i like to be pretty transient at least at this stage of my life.
I want to go to Peru and all over south america and Africa to explore, see ruins, white water raft, hike and explore.
I want to see eastern Europe and spend some time learning more about eastern cultures.
I want to spend sometime in a bunch of small countryside villas all over western Europe.
That may not be much help, but i found for me, i need to be on the move. Why limit your self to one place when you can go anywhere?
About a year ago, i was struggling with the same questions you are. I can go anywhere, so do i want to go to? I did alot of research and found alot of places that i wanted to go, but none that i knew i wanted to stay. I was actually getting very frustrated with this.
I kept working at it, and into my Life strode Dave, and everything just fell into place. I got a travel partner who wants to do alot of the same things i want to. And he is soooo not boring. (tho if anyone tells Dave i said that, i will deny it

)
Good luck on trying to figure it out.
Adrienne
