Default An 'aha' experience

Love these stories! About two years ago, I was in a real funk. Just a rough patch in general. I was trying so hard to breathe life into my latest pet project, but felt I had hit a brick wall. Lack of funds, lack of morale, lack of resources...or so I thought. I had heard of LoA, but was feeling so discouraged that I allowed myself to sink to an almost all-time low.

Striving to keep a stiff upper lip ( what did I have to lose?) I started to perform a little ritual just before sleep each night. I asked very specifically for help in manifesting my 'invention'. Two nights went by...nothing. I persevered. On the third night I woke up at about 3:00 and made my way to my keyboard. I started to peck away and about an hour later I had written a 12-stanza poem. I recall that the words just flowed quite effortlessly...I layed it all down without any changes or editing. Which is rare for me. Then I saved the little ditty to a file and went back to sleep.

Next day, a friend dropped over and I invited him to read the poem. Much to my surprise, he immediately declared that he wanted to put it to music! As if this wasn't amazing enough, within only 3 weeks, seven individuals approached me with cash in hand to invest in my invention's R&D!

EVERYTHING CHANGED from that day forward.

My friend and I went on to record a CD Single called 'I Believe', which is really all about LoA. A while later, the CD was used as a modestly successful fund-raiser for a Breakfast in Schools program in Nova Scotia. About 100 CDs were sold at the event, raising $400.00 for hungry kids.

The gift continues to give!

And we're just getting started.
