By eating more vegetables and fruits how are you going to become 'nutrient-starved?'

There are some arguments against supplementation of certain vitamins/minerals. For example, some studies suggest that excess Vitamin A contributes to osteoporosis, and that excess iron causes oxidation and free-radical damage.
