I agree that it shouldn't be required.

I think that the unpatriotic people should have their own pledge...

In many countries in the world you would then be imprisoned.

We should not suspend any student who exercises his or her right not to sing it or even leave out the "god" word.

BUT WE SHOULD NOT GET RID OF IT..... It is not quaint, it is needed.
Any person who has a problem with the P of A is unpatriotic in my opinion.
