Thanks for the support everyone! Lesson #1: E-business requires several days lag time to test security and functionality. Grand opening has been moved to May 21, 2008. I still have tons of testing to do (FeedBurner, E-Junkie, etc.). I have all these bank-related things to clear. I have functionality stuff to clear up.
I'm a total tech novice (never even had a personal website), so this has been a very slow learning process.
Or may it's my last attempts at procrastination. Lesson #2: All-nighters and procrastination doesn't work for online businesses (note Lesson #1).
I'm a bit disappointed I couldn't keep my deadline. I always try to deliver on deadline (usually by pulling all-nighters).
I had no idea that business ideas are so difficult to execute! I applied for LLC status back in the end of January of this year. That was the easiest part!
It's taken 4 months to just throw the basics together for this website. This is where I am so grateful for my corporate project management experience - otherwise, I would have totally given up a long time ago.
Small business owners - I salute you. Lesson #3a: give myself 50% more time than I think I need.
Lesson #3b: mini-goals are pretty damn important.
This is the first time I'm creating an e-business, so I'm still learning. Considering I'll be delayed by only 1 week, I'm not too upset.
But, without the May 15 deadline, I would have procrastinated forever...so maybe I respond better to mini-deadlines.

Ok, so I keep marching on!
