There is nothing there to save, because sperm cells only live for a couple of days. Abstinence lowers sperm production, because our bodies were designed to be efficient - switch off what you don't use.
Way I see it, you need to keep sharpening your knife so that when the time comes to finally use it, you don't find yourself holding a blunt instrument.
