When I'm thinking about a particular goal, I like to ask myself what steps I need to take to get where I want to go. Once I have some ideas, then I ask myself which of those things I need to do first. After I have my plan, I ask myself what potential obstacles might I face and what I need to do to avoid or overcome them.
