Default Need input regarding fasting ...

The other day I managed to fast between 7 and 8 hours after my tiny breakfast (a few sips of smoothie), but not without some suffering. For the day I walked on the beach, on the streets, etc., for a couple of miles, and felt tired physically and started having a headache at the end of the day. I drank two bottles of water during the trip. This weekend I'm hoping to increase my fasting time by 1-2 hours.

I am doing this fast and solo walk as part of a pre-vision quest assignment.

Was I taxing my body too much by walking around (even though I took a few short breaks during my walk)? I think that not eating made a difference in my energy level. Should I have drunk more water? Another challenge was keeping my mind off food.

Any input is appreciated.
