That's where I live. It's certainly warmer than San Francisco. I grew up here, and although it's a great place to live for so many reasons, I often yearn for much warmer weather.
I've lived in quite a few very warm spots -- Brazil, Portugal, Maui -- and I love being able to run around comfortably at night, jumping into the ocean at midnight and having it be nice and warm (look out for sharks!) and not owning a coat.
