I thought it a useless fad (a common reaction) but if my lifestyle called for it, I would use it.
People have organized flash events, had pool common peoples' common knowledge to get a question answered...a kid even twittered himself out of jail!
Most people think it's a narcissistic web 2.0 thing but watch when a Miley Cirus (sp?) starts using it and everyone will start, like with social networks.
