Nope. A page view is just each time the html file is viewed Hits include every single image on that page as well.
Page views are also not the greatest thing to measure. It shows you whether people are going into your site and viewing more than one page, but that's about it.
If you guys haven't already, I would suggest signing up for the free Google Analytics to measure your traffic. It's as good as most $3k programs and will measure the things that really matter, including conversions.
