I got 15, which surprised me because in real life I have extremely good "radar" when it comes to spotting that sort of fakery. Nearly all the ones I missed were ones I debated over, but all the ones I got right I knew immediately whether they were real or fake. It's all in the eyes--I didn't even look at the actual smiles. In real-life interactions, I would also have had body language and voice inflections, plus the smiles' contexts within a given conversation to go by, so maybe it's not so surprising I only got 15 on this test, after all. |
