This happened to me when I used the book "Goals!" by Brian Tracy.

The thing to remember, is these authors have their system, and they invite you to use it. It's what THEY came up with. It isn't necessarily the magic cure for YOU, since it was published and you can buy it in the store doesn't mean it is LAW, lol.

We hear don't focus on how, focus on what. But these books are very much focused on how.

I think the point of all these exercises are to keep you focused on your intentions, but don't mistake the method with the ultimate goal, which is to always be focused on your preferred state.

Personally, I prefer the Abraham books. Their focus is to get you to the point where you are feeling good---THEN you take action, make plans, write goals, whatever comes to mind. But these other methods do that backwards. They are BUSYWORK. Which means you're not in the right frame to manifest, from anxiety and to-do lists, which to just about everyone, create anxiety.
