I have come across a very good book on demonic possession. I strongly recommend it to anyone who's interested in the topic. It is quite a thick book but is devoted to describing just
two cases of demonic possession. As you can imagine, it goes into very extensive detail on each case.
The author is the well-known Scott Peck, a psychiatrist by training. It's interesting to note that he wrote the book only many years after the actual occurrence of these two cases, in which he was personally involved. My sense of it was that as he neared the end of his life, Scott felt that it was important to have his encounters with demonic possession written down for posterity.
Scott passed away soon after the book was published. I think it was within one or two years of the book getting published.
