Definitely there are dry days.
That's why I think that it's useful to familiarise yourself with a range of LOA methods, techniques and suggestions. With some experimentation, you'll see that some methods work better for you than others, depending on your frame of mind on that particular day.
Within AAIG alone, there are a range of different processes which are differentiated on the basis of how you feel ......
Also, "dryness" on any particular day is often related to one specific area of your life. Which is why I like to hold intentions across all different areas of my life. Some days, you may not feel like thinking about your career, so you could think about your family instead, or your hobbies, or your health, or the countries you'd like to travel to, or the boat you want to build in your free time .... etc.
