"PhotoReading"has been around for ages before Paul Scheele started doing it. In fact, Paul Scheele attended Richard Welch's Subliminal Dynamics seminar a little before he set up his own thing. Then, funnily enough, a few years later Ed Stracher attended a PhotoReading seminar in Singapore and proceeded to come up with his own Reading Genius course - which has now sold quite well.

In other words, you don't [have to be original to have a degree of success in this field.

I've worked with PhotoReading / Subliminal Dynamics myself over the last decade or so and find it a somewhat useful process, but very hit and miss. It doesn't replace regular reading, it rather adds to it, I think. It's worth getting the course and going for it - if it doesn't work out for you then there's always the money back guarantee, which you can extend up to six months if you give them a call.

Speed reading... Pfft. There are good ways and bad ways to read, but the classical 'train your eyes etc' Evelyn Wood clone stuff is something that almost NOBODY sticks with. Seems great to begin with, but I frankly think it's a shitty way to read, and that might be why so few speed read for more than a few days or weeks after doing a course. I personally haven't seen anyone do it over time.
