Kids are only "troublesome to deal with" if you try to control them, don't listen to them, and don't honor their desires. Having an extremely strong-willed son has taught me SO much. Lots of parents get into trouble when they try to
control their kids, rather than going with the flow that their kids present. It's a very different way to parent, but if you're open to it, it can bring you more joy, peace, connection, self-awareness and fulfillment than you've ever experienced.
Or, rather, it has for me! And lots of other folks who parent like I do.
