I've just spent a few hours reading Erin's fantastic blog and browsing though everyone's forum contributions. It's so wonderfully engaging and interesting!
As a newbie, I hope you don't mind me launching straight into a question, or rather asking for your thoughts.
I'm 28, married and have no children yet. I have always imagined the children I would have, and when I met my husband I found out that he had the same vision, so to speak. Both hubby and I have no brothers or sisters.
About 18 months ago, my Mum and her friend were at a crystal/new age store. Mum sat outside (across a wide corridor, not visible from the store counter), while the friend went inside. The lady at the counter noticed that the friend had a spirit with her, and described the friend's son who had tragically died a few years earlier.
The store lady then said "oh, there's a baby here - the message is for the lady sitting outside". They both called my Mum, and the message was along the lines that the child was meant to be born but there had been health problems that delayed it, but the child would probably 'appear' by the end of 2007. Being her only child Mum took the message as being for me, although I haven't fallen pregnant and have women's health issues.
My mum has since dreamt of 2 children for me, a girl and a boy. She is currently going through a spiritual transformation so takes this as being a message.
Also, at a reading with a Medium late last year he said briefly, in talking about the many spirits around Mum and I, "oh, there's a baby"... but took it maybe as one miscarried or born long ago to my great-grandparents. But I wondered if it was this same child appearing once again.
So... all these factors have been going around in my mind regularly for a long while now. I'm wondering why would the message be repeatedly coming? What would be the urgency of this child coming to Earth? What are the consequences of my health issues not being resolved quick enough for me to become a mother and bring this child into the world? Why me?!?!
I also worry about the child being one of the indigo children, which I've heard are very boisterous and strong willed. It concerns me that the child could be troublesome to deal with...
I'm just really wondering what other people think, and if this kind of thing has happened to other people. If it has, have you had the child yet and what has the outcome been like? I'm really fascinated to know!
