Andrew,
This strong intuition that you have is something you can develop. I do believe that all people possess the ability to pick up on the electrical vibrations that our brains produce while thinking and feeling a certain way. WHen those feelings are strong of course the chances of you picking up on them are greater.
Myself, as a child and to the present day, I'm able to pickup on certain information that is in the air. Predicting or sensing people, their emotional states, discomforts and also their next actions and thoughts sometimes. somtimes of course there is nothing. But that's because I was thinking and not feeling.
I do believe that this ability is going to become a normal part of life for all humans, but until then for those who already know how it feels and what to look for, they have an advantage, and it is great!
FOr me, it really helps me in making business decisions. It's very easy to figure out the truths of people when you can feel their emotions. As for girlfriends, well my girlfriend doesnt want to explore too much about this ability and would like it if I think more. But I tell her that If I come up with the answer it could be wrong, but my intuition has never been wrong.
It has saved my life multiple times. I think I'd stick to this force.
The only trick is put your mind in a very blank state when you want to use your intuition instead of your own mind. Stop thinking.
Also I found out that the more information you stuff into your brain the more chances you have for your intuition to cook up an amazing thought or truths.
Just know one last thing, you intuition has been the force that has kept us alive since we were still walking on four (or six) feet. It's only been very recently (about 1million years) that the modern humans have been around, since our own thinking mind is still very young, our subconscious has been developing along side with instinct in fact it replaced it.
On another note...I have been seeking seeking for answers about this for years, my conclusions are that this ability exists in very few people.
I'm glad you came out with your message, cuz I know exactly what you're saying. Stay in touch please.

The reason I mention this is that I seem to be getting better at doing this recently. For instance, I just recently started dating a girl who is going through a hard period with another relationship that's being wrapped up. She also gets stressed out by school, family, and work.
When she's in a bad mood, I always know, well before I see her or talk to her. For instance, on Wednesday, I was supposed to meet her in the afternoon. Whenever I thought of her or our meeting all morning, I just had this overwhelming sense of her being withdrawn/unhappy.
It's actually hard to describe, because my gut tells me that those are MY expectations/feelings for our meeting, when I know full well that that's not the case.
When we met, she was trying very hard to act like herself, but I still sensed that something wasn't right. I kept asking her about it, saying that I just get hunches about such things. She avoided it for awhile, saying that she was having a good time, but then came out with all this stress that she's been having, etc.
I've only ever experienced this with people that I'm very close to. Usually with girlfriends. Years ago I read about this yogic breathing technique where you kind of...breath in a person's essence, connecting them with you and making both of you more open. I do this quite often around said girl, and I certainly feel the link more strongly with her than anyone else. I don't really feel it for my family for instance, but did with my best friend of 14 years.
I'm not really one to believe that I could have "powers", but who knows. I did recently do Erin's chakra opening exercise, and I've been working on a lot of meditation/breathing exercises.
So, my question basically is, what is this? Is there any way that I can strengthen or refine this, or perhaps test it somehow?
Any advice welcome.
Also, I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I'm a very calm person, but when I'm in big groups, I always feel somewhat frayed, like maybe I'm kind of feeding off what everyone else is feeling. I especially feel this way when I'm working in an office.
Thanks. |
