I am exactly the same way, only with my writing, not music, words. I write a lot, actually, for a multitude of reasons, but sometimes I write with an intent to publish something and I usually quit after I get to chapter 2 because I as I read over what I have written, I sit there asking myself, who is ever going to find any of this worth reading...it's boring. And in general, even on forums, I think people are not interested in anything I have to say.

I was teased a lot too and I also chalked it up to me being ugly. The fact is, though, what you look like is not the point or the issue. The issue is how you feel about yourself. People can make you feel bad in an infinite number of ways, it doesn't just have to be about looks.
