I've began to see that changing internally and externally are together hand in hand (not totally, but I think you know what I'm getting at). For example even though things at school's are winding down I still have to deal with some of that stuff talking with not so nice teachers, listening to boring lectures, ect. Needless to say I wish all of these things would just be over with...but thats not how it always is. As Buddha once said “The greatest prayer is patience”.

Just my two cents.
I agree. I think it can be boiled down to , As the inner changes, as a result the outer changes.

That's an interesting thought. you may not have meant it like this, but it brings to mind that when we "wish" something would be over, what we are in effect doing, is denying the present moment, which is all there really is.

I have to go to 2 family ( in-law ) functions this afternoon. I'm not really looking forward to either of them. I will try to remember this then. Instead of wishing the present moment away, while I'm there, and thus denying life, I will try to fully accept the present moment, and not live for the future ( when I get to leave the function ).

So thanks for the reminder. :-))
And thanks for listening.
