Hi Jaideep....
A deeply embeded belief can be so powerful it can override whatever action you may take to achieve a goal if it doesn't agree with the goal...
Or it can propel you straight to it with gusto, with little problems...
For example if your goal is to meet women, but your belief is that you're boring/have nothing to say, that belief will most likely make you too afraid to even try and you won't do anything as a result.
If you believe you're an interesting person and it doesn't matter how a woman reacts to you, then you will have no problem walking up to women...
Beliefs can be created by the repetition of something, like a thought, experience, or observation until it stays with you and becomes part of your "opinion"..... a belief has been created....
However here is a key or "loophole" available to you... even if you have a belief that seems to stops you, take action anyway..and pretend you're confident doing it even if you don't feel like it at the moment....try to do more than you did before with each day ..... practice....the result is that with repetion of the action, you're mind will eventually accept the new behavior... and that is one way you can achieve a goal...
Take care jaideep...
