I must say that both Steve and Prophet make some seriously strong points. All I can add is that it truly is a matter of perspective.
In my opinion, it's a goal to perpetually move towards a Utopian world (lightworker) versus the acceptance that there is not and never will be a Utopian society (darkworker).
If you don't make this distinction, however, I don't feel you can move to either side.
