Default Could you double $100?

Here's a question I read in "I can Make You Rich" by Paul Mckenna.
If you woke up one morning in a place where you knew no one with $100 in your pocket, how long would it take for you to double your money, and how would you do it?

I think I'd start by buying some writing supplies with the $100 and write poetry or short stories about the place I had found myself in and the people who lived there, then start trying to sell my work, either as a souvenir for tourists or something that people could simply enjoy while drinking their morning coffee. How much would be a reasonable price for a poem or a short story? $1 a poem, $5 a short story? Later I'd be able to buy a computer and a printer and print out my poems and stories and employ someone to deal with the sales of my work and an editor to help me make my writing the best it can be. In time I could be a millionaire.
